Tweeting Love Birds Vol 1 Yaoi Manga eBook Kotetsuko Yamamoto

Ohtaka finds himself in an university far in the country. He wants to leave as soon as he arrives. But he meets Tweetie an adorable young man whose cute looks gets him thinking of staying. By the end of the book Ohtaka begins to realize he might really be in love. However there is a rival, Tweetie's "fiance". Shiratori declares they are engaged, Tweetie swears they are not. In the middle is Ohtaka's twisting feelings. It sound very dramatic but it is the opposite. The budding romance is sweet and very funny. Even as you say I spoiled the whole book I really haven't. There is a lot of build up in the relationship and the love triangle isn't even resolved until near the end of the second book. Even though I know how it ends I still am eager to re-read it over again. This book is well worth the money and you might as well buy the second at the same time as you will want to find out how it all gets resolved.

Tweeting Love Birds Vol 1 Yaoi Manga eBook Kotetsuko Yamamoto Reviews

This was a very great story and I really like this authors work. It was so fun to read and very interesting.
I wasn't familiar with Kotetsuko Yamamoto's works before knowing about them through DMG and I'm so happy I decided to give them a shot.

Tweeting Love Birds is one of the best works I've read by the mangaka so far. It is sweet, charming and has the BL feel we all are looking for. I found it interesting for the chemistry between the two lead characters and the characters are likable.

Again, this may not be for those looking for smut but I can assure that you won't be disappointed. It got me hooked that I want to read the second installment now.

I can say now that I'm a Yamamoto-sensei's fan and I hope more of her works will be licensed. Can't wait for volume 2 of Tweeting Love Birds. Thanks to DMG for making this series available for us.
I'm a huge fan of Kotetsuko Yamamoto. I've read most of her titles all because of 'Like a Beast', so when i saw this was available on i jumped for joy!

This is one of her first releases and i can't say one of my favourites but i just love her art and romantic gestures. It was a nice read but the romance was slow and uneventful at times. It was pleasant and light. There are soft Yaoi scenes but this is more Shounen-Ai than Yaoi.

Bottom line is if you like Kotetsuko Yamamoto's other works then you must read this one as well 3

Like the first reviewer says, this one is pure charm, the boys likable. Tweetie is especially adorable. So not surprised that this small and cute boy has so many fans among the baseball players, one of them a burly hunk. LOL! I too enjoy the chemistry between the delightful Tweetie and the seemingly gloomy Ohtaka. It is fun to watch how Ohtaka is agitated by, confused over and gradually taken in by Tweetie. The plot is cute as only innocent schoolboys could be. OK so there is no smex but for those of us who enjoy a good BL this one should not be missed. Looking forward to much more.
(For those who don't know Ookiku Furikabutte in English means The Big Wind Up! It's a beautiful anime dealing about baseball! Totally recommend it to those who are into sports manga, like Whistle!)

Tweeting Love Birds turned out to be a very sweet and romantic comedy. The two characters in the story, Ohtaka and Tweetie, meet in a university baseball and even though they are total opposites it doesn't deter Tweetie from getting Ohtaka's first kiss!

The story is very addictive, I even bought the second volume because I just had to know what happens next!
I have already extolled the magnificence that is Yamamoto Kotetsuko in another review, so I shan't repeat myself here. I will only say that I am almost always overcome with the urge to squeeze something fluffy when reading her manga. "Tweeting Love Birds" is no exception.

When Ohtaka goes to his grandfather's alma mater to fulfill a promise to play baseball there, he gets much more than he bargained for thanks to the cute, devious team captain. Affectionately known as "Tweetie" due to a play on his name, this small, mischievous sprite turns poor Ohtaka's world inside out. Naturally, hi-jinx and hilarity ensue. An uber adorable uke. A confused seme. And, a sports setting filled with humor. What isn't there to love about this manga? The lack of smex? Pshaw! Since when is that an indicator of a good BL piece? Don't get me wrong, I love hot man-lovin' as much as the next fujioshi, but Yamamoto's works don't need it. They stand fine on their own merit, though she has some pretty racy pieces out there. Plus, if you are looking for the smexin', go read the sequel Tweeting Love Birds Vol. 2 (Yaoi Manga), too! It's worth it.

As far as the presentation of this digital edition, I have absolutely no complaints. Boys Love Bang Bang has seriously become one of my favorite localizers. They do a great job with the word choice and editing. Plus, the manga itself is very clean and crisp...at least as far as my app will let it. I still wish (and B & N) would work on their manga/comic formats more.

The bottom line...this manga is sweet, adorably funny and will make you fall in love with Yamamoto Kotetsuko if you haven't already.
